Biography
Tim Anderson is currently a storage consultant specializing in storage technology for large-scale enterprise business requirements.
Prior to his current role, he held various positions including Storage Administrator, Storage Architect, and Manager of Storage Engineering at Abbott Laboratories.
At Abbott Tim took on the responsibility of building the Storage Area Network division. He started by himself with a few switches and in a few short years built a world-class organization, with world-class administrators and architects. He was responsible for managing a team and over one Petabyte of storage.
The storage was deployed across many locations nationally and internationally. Tim was identified as pioneer for his use of Storage Area Networking across the business landscape. Further to his credit was the design and deployment of those supporting technologies at the many locations around the globe.
Following the deployment of operational storage was a multi-regional replication and DR solution for Abbott's critical business applications.
Tim enjoyed six years in the United States Marine Corps; he served his country honorably. The United States Marine Corps gave Tim a great start in his technology career.
